LEBANON, Maine (WMTW) - A Maine man is being treated for what police say are seven serious stab wounds after an attack at his home in Lebanon.
York County Sheriff William King says deputies were called to a home on West Lebanon Road at about 2 p.m. on Monday for a reported disturbance and stabbing.
While deputies were on their way, they learned the victim, 52-year-old Raymond Cole, had left and was trying to get to the hospital.
A deputy stopped Cole on Carl Broggi Highway and was able to get rescue units to help him and then take him to Maine Medical Center in Portland. Police said Cole had stab wounds on his chest, face, back and head.
