Chicago police are searching for a man who attacked and robbed a pregnant woman this month at a CTA train station in the Loop.

The incident happened about 12:40 p.m. Oct. 4 in the tunnel between the Red and Blue line stops at Jackson, 230 S. State St. The man approached the woman from behind, grabbed her purse and aggressively threw her to the ground and into a wall, according to Chicago police.

The woman was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she was treated for her injuries.

The man fled on a bike with her purse, police said. He was described by police as a male between 18 and 25 years old, with a thin build and with twists or a dreadlock hairstyle.
