After requesting his release from the Tennessee Titans, the team will move on and cut veteran wide receiver Tyler Lockett. According to the breaking news, Lockett had no desire to stay in Tennessee anymore, and as of this posting, the wide receiver is expected to become available tomorrow to sign anywhere he wants. Originally selected in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft, the former Kansas State product wasn't a major viable option for rookie Cam Ward's offense. However, the Titans still took a chance on him, and now, after the release, it makes sense why he wanted out of Tennessee.

The team is nowhere near being a postseason contender, especially after firing Brian Callahan. Lockett isn't the most exciting receiver, and he probably won't get starting duties elsewhere unless a team is
