GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Brown County leaders got their flu shots in front of cameras on Tuesday to encourage everyone else to get the flu vaccine.

Brown County Public Health says getting the flu shot is not only protecting your own health, but also the health of those around you. They also emphasize the importance of getting the vaccine every year because the virus changes over time.

“It’s important to promote that the vaccines are available, and if there are questions or concerns, we’ll always say and did prior say that that’s a conversation that you can have with your primary care provider, because they know you best, and they make decisions based on your personal story or your personal case.
