BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. (WIS) - A Richland School District Two student was hit by a car while riding their bicycle across the street in front of an elementary school.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a Lake Carolina Elementary School student was riding their bicycle at the intersection of Bud Keef and Kelly Mill Roads Tuesday morning when they were hit by a car.
The car, a 2010 Mercedes sedan, was turning left when it hit the student.
The student was taken by EMS to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver was charged with failure to yield.
At this time, it is unclear who the driver is.
