Although uncertainty looms over Toledo City Council, the body’s regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday was short, both in time and people.

Council failed to reach the eight-member requirement to pass items on emergency. Most agenda items received a first reading, which delays the vote to a future meeting.

Councilmen Adam Martinez, Theresa Morris, John Hobbs III, Cerssandra McPherson, Brittany Jones, and Nick Komives were all in attendance. Councilman Vanice Williams chaired the meeting in the absence of a council president.
