The earliest of reporting polls on the night of Calgary’s municipal election showed what many believed to be an apparent shift to the political right, at least compared to the former city council.
The shift was highlighted by the loss of incumbent mayor Jyoti Gondek to self-identified “progressive conservative,” Jeromy Farkas.
