BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- Louisiana rapper NBA YoungBoy will be in the Magic City on Wednesday night, but his tour has come with some safety issues in other cities.

NBA YoungBoy is coming to Birmingham off a two-night stint in New Orleans. According to WGNO, the city ramped up security for his shows in response to some of the events that have happened in other cities.

WGNO reported the New Orleans Police Department had more than 400 officers on duty both nights of NBA YoungBoy’s concert. There were no major incidents at the New Orleans shows, as state troopers and police officers were able to respond to calls quickly.
