PORTLAND, Ore. — Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties have launched a new set of online dashboards intended to help residents track climate and health data across the Portland metro area. The goal is to help track the health impacts of climate change and search for mitigation strategies, according to a joint news release from the three counties.

The counties said the dashboards show a link between regional mental health and local climate disasters like the 2021 heat dome or the 2020 wildfires , leading to increased "anxiety, trauma and eco-distress," with the strongest impacts among young people and communities most heavily impacted by the disasters.
