HILLSBORO, Oregon — Community organizers across the Portland metro area are relying on hundreds of volunteers to help record and verify immigration arrests . The volunteers, called legal observers, respond when they get word of possible immigration enforcement activity and rush to document what happens.

Some of those community groups say the Trump administration's immigration crackdown appears to be picking up in the Hillsboro area. A video recorded last week by Kiley Delgado and her husband and posted on social media shows drivers blocking what appears to be an agent from U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

"If you have a car, please pull behind them, it's ICE," Delgado says in the video.
