YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - Halloween came early in downtown Youngstown Tuesday night, thanks to the Youngstown Phantoms.
The team hosted its first Trunk or Treat outside the Covelli Centre.
Families filled the parking lot as dozens of kids were dressed in costumes and loading up on candy.
Even the team's partners and season ticket holders joined in, decorating their trunks and handing out sweets.
"I was amazed. It's awesome," said Kelsey Moreton, Phantoms senior vice president. "I'm so excited that we can give back to Youngstown and the people that live here."
Team Captain Ryan Ruckinski says the event is a great way for the team to connect with community members.
