TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — It’s a special time of year in one Magic Valley neighborhood, as the annual Halloween on Mountainview returns.

The event, put on by retired doctor Dan Alder, features volunteers and exquisite set designs based on a theme.

This year, that theme will be Harry Potter, and will feature 40 actors dressed as characters from the books. People going by will of course see Harry and his friends, but even Dobby, Hagrid, and of course, Voldemort.

Adler said this event brings out almost 3 thousand people during the Halloween season each year. He added that recently, he’s used it as a fundraiser for charitable causes.
