BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Nearly two full years after firing Eric Dooley, Southern athletic director Roman Banks stepped to the podium once again Tuesday afternoon to announce another head coaching change midseason. The latest casualty is Terrence Graves.

after the Jaguars’ disappointing 1-6 start to this season. This was an expected move after last Saturday. Following the 24-3 loss to Prairie View A&M, Southern’s fifth straight, Banks held an impromptu press conference where he mentioned that discussions would be held regarding Graves’ future.

Coming into this season, Southern was predicted to finish first in the SWAC West. Seven games into the season, the Jags are not contenders. They’re not even pretenders. They are just a bad football team that gets blown out.
