SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Alec Baldwin's lawsuit against the prosecutors in his involuntary manslaughter case is back on. The Hollywood star sued special prosecutor Kari Morrissey, Santa Fe County District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies, and others, arguing evidence linked to the deadly Rust shooting investigation was intentionally mishandled. That led to his criminal charge being dropped.
The lawsuit was dismissed earlier this year after Baldwin's legal team failed to take action in the case for six months. Since then, a judge granted a motion to reinstate the lawsuit.
