Trick Williams and the champion, Ricky Saints, met in the ring to sign the agreement, but the segment quickly broke down after a heated verbal exchange.

Trick Williams, a former two-time NXT Champion, spoke first. He stated that even though Saints holds the title, Williams is still “the man” in NXT and intends to become a three-time champion.
