Tuesday evening update:

We had a very cold morning with a low of 39 in Augusta, 12 degrees below normal! Despite the cold start, we warmed up significantly in the afternoon into the upper 70s/low 80s. We started out sunny, and then a cold front brought cloud cover around sunset and is keeping our temperatures milder at night.

Clouds will clear overnight which will allow temperatures to fall into the low 50s to start our Wednesday. The afternoon will be a few degrees cooler than it was Tuesday, reaching the mid 70s. The highs will stay this way throughout the rest of the week, and lows will fall into the low to mid 40s. Sunny and dry over the next few days with high pressure moving back in.

The pattern becomes more complex starting on Sunday, due to a disturbance coming in from the South
