WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — The federal government shutdown has entered its third week, and experts say if it continues, the effects could soon reach Wichita.

The Senate on Monday failed for the 11th time to advance a bill to fund the government and end the shutdown. The House has not held a vote since Sept. 19, leaving federal programs and workers in limbo.
