LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Wednesday, the Clark County commission decided to cut ties with a funeral home embroiled in controversy and entangled in a lawsuit .

Commissioners voted unanimously to end its contract with McDermott’s Funeral Cremation Service. The county revoked its license in August.

Court documents show multiple complaints against the funeral home for long-delayed services. Investigators say they found multiple bodies in advanced states of decomposition during an inspection of the facility.

Documents show they transferred the remains of nearly 150 people to another funeral home for embalming or cremation.
