LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Community leaders, local organizations, and the family of a man attacked at a Las Vegas Chinatown karaoke bar in 2022 thanked District Attorney Steven Wolfson for filing assault charges, nearly three years later, during a press conference Tuesday.

The attack occurred in November 2022 at Space BBQ on Spring Mountain near South Decatur Boulevard.

"We stand with DA Steve Wolfson and we stand thankful that our community can rest assured that all violent crimes will always be prosecuted at the fullest extent of the law and that justice will be served for the victim and his family," Evan Louie, chairman of One APAI Nevada said during Tuesday's conference.

The stabbing resulted in a shooting in the same shopping center parking lot.
