LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A suspect was taken into custody following a standoff with police early Wednesday morning.

The barricade took place in a neighborhood near Nellis Boulevard and Owens Avenue, starting around 1 a.m., when Las Vegas Metropolitan police were conducting a shooting investigation.

The standoff ended around 4 a.m. when the suspect surrendered. No injuries were reported.
