The man accused of murdering a man and two women in South San Jose has a long criminal record.
Police said the 27-year-old suspect, Joseph Vicencio, was taken into custody on Wednesday, a day after officers responded to the triple homicide outside a condominium on Chynoweth Avenue.
The coroner has identified two of the victims as 26-year-old Tarah Lynn Taylor and Max Ryan, a San Jose city employee. The third victim has not been identified.
NBC Bay Area on Thursday pulled Vicencio's criminal file and showed it to attorney Steven Clark.
The criminal file includes a gun violence restraining order filed by San Jose police in October 2019.
