That’s Patricia Price’s way of thinking about her decision to bequeath a monetary gift in her will to World Vision — a charity she and her husband Roger have been life-long supporters of.

And the Nedlands resident is hoping their plan will inspire others in the western suburbs to do the same through Fundraising Institute Australia’s Include a Charity campaign.

“If you’re selling a house in the western suburbs, to donate a substantial amount of money or put a gift in your will is no great burden on anybody,” she said.

“Why not give part of the value of these enormously valuable houses to some to some kids who really need it?”
