CASEY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) — A 19-year-old Amish man was killed Tuesday morning in a crash involving a van and a buggy in Casey County.

According to sheriff’s office, the crash happened around 7 a.m. on Highway 127 near Highway 501.

The sheriff’s office says an adult and three children were inside the van. One of the children was injured in the crash.

The 19-year-old operating the buggy was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

We’re told Kentucky State Police is investigating the crash.
