I’ve always had a soft spot for nostalgia and anything old.
October is American Archives Month, and it’s why I’ve recently been thinking more about the importance of artifacts and other physical representations of the past. For me, history resonates and feels much more digestible when there’s something physical that it’s tethered to.
I visited and talked with some of Indiana’s history collections and archives. It underscored for me the importance of keeping the past physically alive.
Preserving family history
