A delegation of civil society members from Rajouri district on Wednesday met Minister Javed Rana at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar, raising pressing concerns related to healthcare and road infrastructure in the Pir Panjal region.
The delegation strongly urged the Minister for the immediate operationalization of the Maternal and Child Hospital at Gujjar Mandi, Rajouri, terming it vital for improving healthcare services and addressing the needs of women and children in the area.
They also drew attention to the poor condition of the Rajouri–Thanna road, stating that the damaged and worn-out blacktopped surface has been causing daily inconvenience to commuters and demanded its early repair and upgradation.
