CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo. (KFVS) - Two people were arrested after police say they found a stolen vehicle that was freshly spray-painted.
Caruthersville police say a 41-year-old man was arrested on a felony charge of first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle and a 43-year-old woman was arrested on a charge of second-degree tampering with a motor vehicle.
They say the two were booked into the Pemiscot County Jail.
According to police, at around 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21, they saw a vehicle that appeared to be freshly spray-painted.
While talking with the man and woman inside the vehicle, officers found evidence that the vehicle had been possibly stolen and painted.
