CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Drivers should expect overnight lane closures on I-26 this week as crews install new signs.
Charleston County Government said lane closures will be in place Wednesday and Thursday evenings while new permanent interstate signs are placed near the Palmetto Commerce Parkway interchange project.
There will be two westbound lane closures on Wednesday from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., and for the eastbound lanes Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
County officials said traffic control measures will be in place. Drive carefully through the work area and follow all traffic signs.
