MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) -- A family in Mobile is struggling to figure out what to do next after a police chase ends with heavy damage to their home. It happened Saturday morning while everyone at the home was asleep.

Police say this started as an attempted traffic stop of a juvenile at Azalea Road and Airport Boulevard and ended in a crash just a mile and a half away outside the Lankford's home.

Images from Saturday morning show where the white pickup involved in the chase ended up, the pickup hit the family’s two vehicles--smashing into their SUV and pushing it into their pantry and laundry room. That knocked bricks off the outside of the home, pushed a portion of the house off its foundation, and obliterated at least one of their vehicles. Now this family of three is in a state of limbo wh
