New Delhi: YEIDA will soon sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Medical Excellence Japan (MEJ) to attract Japanese investment and technology to its upcoming medical devices park in Sector 28. The collaboration aims to boost manufacturing, R&D, and exports in the sector.

Currently, 101 of the 254 industrial units at the park have been allotted, with 23 lease deeds signed. Construction is underway at seven sites, including TI Medical, the largest allottee with 11 acres, and one unit is already operational. Ten companies have received building plan approvals so far.
