A Grangetown violence update has been issued by police revealing £50,000 cash, a machete, an off-road bike and vehicles have been recovered. This is on top of the 10 people arrested - including one charged.

Temporary Assistant Chief Constable Dave Sutherland, head of Local Policing at Cleveland Police , spoke directly to the community in a YouTube video about the investigation and subsequent proactive activity that has taken place since the violence occurred on Thursday, October 16.

An investigation was launched after a black vehicle, believed to be a Volvo SUV, was driven into an address, a window was smashed at another home, a person was attacked, a vehicle was set alight and a car was shot at - all within a few hours.
