HERMANTOWN, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Northlanders can eat their way through Hermantown, thanks to an annual event.
The 18th annual “Taste of Hermantown” returns on Thursday.
It runs from from 5 to 7 p.m. at the ADD Shrine Building on Miller Trunk Highway.
Attendees will be able to sample dishes from local restaurants like Oasis Del Norte, Valentini’s and Grandma’s Saloon & Grill, among others.
Although the evening is all about food, it also gives back to the community.
“All those proceeds go to the Hermantown Legacy Fund ,” said organizer Pauline Custer. “We take those funds and we give them to high school Hermantown graduates. We try to fill in financial gaps for other things within our community.”
The event also includes a silent auction.
