BROOKSTON, Minn. (Northern News Now) - The Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa is asking for the community’s help in finding a member of their tribe who has been missing since last March.

According to the Fond du Lac Band, Peter Martin was 31-years-old when he was last seen in Brookston, Minnesota, in the Mahnomen neighborhood of the Fond du Lac Reservation on March 8, 2024.

While his exact whereabouts remain unknown, this area and the surrounding region remain of particular interest.

With hunting season approaching, hunters and outdoor enthusiasts, who often traverse remote areas that others do not, are specifically being asked to stay alert as these areas might provide clues to his whereabouts.
