FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A local non-profit is hosting a three-day walk from Bentonville to Fayetteville from October 23-25.
New Beginnings Northwest Arkansas is a nonprofit dedicated to providing shelter to individuals who have experienced long-term homelessness. It was originally founded in 2018 aiming to create safe and stable neighborhoods around the region.
The walk aims to raise awareness and support for homelessness in the area.
It will begin at 9 a.m. October 23 in Bentonville and follow the Northwest Arkansas Razorback Greenway to Fayetteville, where it will end at the New Beginnings location.
People unable to join the full walk are invited to join for the final mile on October 25 at 3 p.m. starting at Walker Park in Fayetteville.
