AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Three Amarillo residents are in Randall County Jail on federal fraud charges following an investigation into a large-scale fraud organization that targets elderly citizens.

Ashley Molina, 32, Samuel Lopez, 45, and Ricardo Plascencia, 32 are accused of being part of a gang that defrauded more than $30 million in “devastating financial losses to victims across the country,”

They are named in a in a press release from The U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of California announcing the arrests of 20 people in California, Texas, and Florida.
