WINCHESTER, Ky. (WKYT) — A Clark County man has been arrested following an undercover investigation into the distribution of child sexual abuse material, according to Kentucky State Police.

KSP says 21-year-old James Matthew Calvert was taken into custody Monday evening after an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation revealed he was sharing exploitative images online.

Troopers executed a search warrant at a residence in Winchester on October 20, seizing electronic equipment believed to have been used in the crimes. The items were sent to KSP’s forensic lab for examination.

Calvert is charged with 20 counts of distributing matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance, which are Class B felonies punishable by 10 to 20 years in prison.
