The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT) has laid an additional 86 charges against a Leduc man arrested for alleged production of child sexual abuse material earlier this year.
49-year-old Campbell Fergusson was arrested at the end of June during a search warrant. The Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit had identified six victims at the time. Since then, ICE has been able to identify an additional 23 victims, most being young teenaged girls who lived in the Leduc area.
“I cannot begin to thank these young girls for their bravery in coming forward. Their courage has made a significant difference in this investigation and their information is what has helped keep him detained,” said Staff Sgt. Alison Church, ALERT ICE.
On October 14, Fergusson was charged with a further 23 cou
