One incident was for a man riding a skateboard and the other was for a man who fell off a scooter. Both occurred in Barrington on Saturday, Oct. 18.

At about 11 a.m., a Vernon Place resident called police to report an unsafe situation. The resident said she had been driving her car in the area of Primrose Hill Road earlier that day when she saw a man riding on a skateboard. The resident said the man was sitting on the skateboard, which made it difficult for motorists to see him. The resident said she nearly struck the skateboarder, and asked for police to address the unsafe situation.
