Tiverton schools will likely receive less gaming revenue than officials hoped for this coming fiscal year, as the town council voted last week to remove $1.1 million in requested school funding from the $5.47 million in Tiverton Casino gaming revenue proceeds received in 2025.

Initially, school officials had asked for $1.55 million in casino funds to continue renovations on several schools, including $800,000 for restroom renovations at both the middle school and high school, and more than $300,000 to renovate the high school's tennis courts.
