WEST FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - A Sioux Falls, South Dakota woman was taken into custody after attempting to flee from a traffic stop, according to a release from the West Fargo Police Department.
41-year-old Eve Jennings Taalak was allegedly driving near the 200 block of 17th Street E when an officer attempted to pull her over for a traffic violation. Taalak fled north but was quickly stopped with a PIT maneuver in the 100 block of 17th Street E.
Taalak was arrested for fleeing a peace officer, reckless endangerment, driving under the influence, DUI refusal, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under suspension.
There were no injuries to anyone involved in this incident. A passenger in the car with Taalak was released without charges.
