The community is remembering a Wethersfield firefighter Robert Sharkevich Sr., who was killed while battling the Hawthorne Drive Fire one year ago.
Sharkevich’s family says he was known for his acts of kindness and the lives he touched. Now, another one of his sons is following in his footsteps.

In his dad's truck, and with a license plate that says “SHARKY”, we met 18-year-old Kayden Sharkevich right before he left for one of his first fire calls.
