BEAUMONT, Texas — A beauty pageant celebrating diversity and inclusion across all ages will take place Sunday at the Vidor High School Auditorium, featuring contestants ranging from 6-week-old infants to women as old as 99.

The Multinational Miss Pageant, directed by Cequana Clark-Lee and assistant director Starr Lee-Alvarez, a mother-daughter team, emphasizes inclusivity with a new division called Sparkling Princess specifically for contestants with special needs.

"We just saw a need," Clark-Lee said during an appearance on 12News. "We had some young ladies who were already a part, but sometimes when you start getting different ages, you can start seeing them not able to keep up as much, and we just wanna make sure that every need, every age is kind of met with our system."
