ONAMIA — Two people were injured Wednesday, Oct. 22, after a vehicle struck a bicyclist on Highway 169 in Mille Lacs County.

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crash at midnight in Kathio Township, northwest of Onamia. According to the report, a bicyclist and a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country were both traveling southbound on Highway 169, near Wakidaaki Drive, when the Chrysler made contact with the cyclist in the middle lane of traffic at Wakidakki Drive.

The bicyclist, Brian Scott Nohr, 56, of Garrison, and a passenger in the Chrysler, Bruce Brendon Anoka, 13, of Onamia, both suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Mille Lacs Health System hospital in Onamia.
