LEMONT, Ill. - A shooting on Interstate 355 in the southwest suburbs is causing traffic delays on Wednesday afternoon.

What we know:

Illinois State Police said troopers are investigating the alleged shooting on I-355 northbound near 127th Street in Lemont .

The incident happened around 1 p.m. No injuries have been reported, ISP said.

Northbound lanes are closed on the highway.

Traffic is being diverted off at 127th Street, so drivers in the area should expect delays.
