AMNICON, Wis. (Northern News Now) - Authorities are on the scene of a potentially fatal crash in Amnicon on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Douglas County officials, northbound and southbound Highway 53 are closed until further notice for crash response.

The crash happened at Highway 53 and Berg Park Road around 2 p.m. A Life Flight helicopter is en route to the scene.
