INDIANAPOLIS (WNDU) - Indiana Senate Republicans do not currently have the votes for mid-cycle redistricting, according to our sister station WTHR .

This comes after a months-long campaign by the White House to secure two additional Republican seats.

Last week, President Trump called state Republicans, where majority indicated they support redistricting, according to Politico . But the holds lie among state leadership in the Senate.

Republicans would need more than just the majority to get the law passed to redistrict.
