LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — The Southern Nevada Health District has confirmed a Las Vegas traveler who had measles put three airports in different states at risk.

On the morning of Oct. 13, officials report that a single unvaccinated traveler spent time in Terminal 3 at Harry Reid International Airport.

Health officials report the outbreak was exposed at airports in Las Vegas , Seattle, and Anchorage. The confirmed case is reportedly the first in Clark County since 2018.

Health officials are now emphasizing the need for immediate isolation protocols.
