CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A road in Montgomery County will be closed as crews replace the roof of the Montgomery County Historic Courthouse.

According to the county, 2nd Street between Commerce Street and Franklin Street will be closed for the roof replacement on Friday, October 24 at 6 a.m.

The roadway is expected to reopen at 5 p.m. that same day.

Here are instructions on how to watch WSMV4 live on various platforms.

“A crane and all associated equipment will block this segment of the street and parking. Parking meters will be bagged to prevent vehicles from parking overnight and blocking the road closure. Drivers should be aware of this closure downtown and plan driving routes to avoid 2nd Street,” the county said.
