A Georgetown driver, 24, was charged with driving 63 kilometres over the speed limit in Woolwich Township on Wednesday.

Waterloo Regional Police said officers stopped the driver on Line 86 in West Montrose after clocking the vehicle at 143 km/h in a 80 km/h zone.

The man was charged with stunt driving, careless driving and speeding. His licence was suspended for 30 days and his vehicle impounded for 14.
