Sooke RCMP is asking for the public’s help after a custom motorcycle was stolen from East Sooke Park last week.

The bike is easily recognizable, featuring custom-painted Looney Tunes artwork.

Police say the theft happened on Oct. 15 between 12:30 and 3 p.m., when a customized 2010 U Build chopper-style motorcycle was taken from the park.

“We are asking anyone who may have seen this motorcycle around that time to contact police,” said Cpl. Alex Bérubé, spokesperson for the BC RCMP.

Bérubé said that bike may have a different look than the photo, citing that some parts may have been sold.

“We are aware that parts of the motorcycle may have been sold after the fact, therefore we are urging anyone making purchases on used parts to be extra vigilant.”
