SOLON, Ohio — At Replay for Kids Creative Space in Solon, independence comes with four wheels, a button, and big smiles .
"We use volunteers in the community to adapt all of our toys and cars," said Natalie Wardega, director of operations at Replay for Kids. "We produce about 3,000 adapted toys a year."
Molly's first drive
For 15-month-old Molly McCrae, a recent visit to Replay for Kids meant her first test drive in an adapted car.
Born at 24 weeks and four days, Molly has severe vision impairment and developmental delays. But those challenges didn't stop her from getting behind the wheel.
"We knew kind of early on that, developmentally, these first couple years might be a little bit difficult for her," Molly's mom Liz said.
